Matthew C. DuPée is the author of A Scary Little Christmas: A History of Yuletide Horror Films, 1972-2020 released through McFarland Books. Brought up on a steady diet of classic and contemporary horror films in the early 80s, Matthew eventually attended Point Park University and graduated with a degree in film and video production in 2002. He has also written for Rue Morgue, Morbidly Beautiful, Offscreen, and Bright Lights Film Journal. He lives outside of Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, two children, and beloved Chihuahua-pitbull, Bella. Matthew continues his research into cult film history and is working on several additional projects, including a book examining the fascinating story behind the making of Albert Pyun’s post-apocalyptic rock-opera, Radioactive Dreams.
